Cousins Meldra and Estere spend their summer at grandparent’s home, a small townhouse surrounded by greenery. The town is full of quirky neighbors with entangled relationships, but none stir up quite as much trouble as a massive, noisy colony of rooks that has taken over a tall larch tree in Grandma Sandra’s yard. In an effort to scare away the birds and save summer, the girls find themselves caught up in an adventure involving their grumpy bird-loving neighbor, his telescope, and a web of secrets.
